collects information from our users at several different points on
our website.
ORDERING
We request information from the user
on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information
(such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such
as credit card and exp. date). This information is used for billing
purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble
processing an order, this contact information is used to get in
touch with the user. All credit card orders are verified for correct
name and address in an effort to reduce fraud.
SHARING
We partner with another party to
provide specific services. When the user signs up for these
services, the provider of these services collect information on the
user. Please see the individual service provider privacy policies.
NEWSLETTERS / SALES
At the point we collect email
addresses you are automatically registered to receive any
newsletters or sale specials we have. You may unsubscribe to this
service at any time by replying back to the email address given and
putting REMOVE in the subject line.
TELL-A-FRIEND
If a user elects to use our referral
service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the
friends email address. A one-time email will be automatically sent
to the friend inviting them to visit our site. The friend's email is
not saved or used for any other purpose.
SECURITY
This website takes every precaution
to protect our users' information. When users submit private
information it is protected both online and off.
The best encryption in the industry (SSL)
is used when collecting sensitive financial information. While on a
secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of
web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape
Navigator shows up as locked.
We also do everything in our means to
protect the users' information off-line. This information is
restricted to necessary personnel in our offices (for example our
billing clerk).
